Waqas Ali and Ameer Hamza partnership give Karwan Club an easy win

The first match of the day began on a sensational note after Karwan Club elected to bat. Both their openers got  run out for no score. None then imagined that their team would post a huge total except Ameer Hamza and Waqas Ali. Both of them settled down and began to strike fluently.

Ameer Hamza put on a 123-runs partnership with Waqas Ali before getting out to Ansar Khan. He scored exactly 50 runs. Waqas Ali continued to score freely and with Ghulam Murtaza at the other end, unbeaten on 2, they took the score to 140 for 3 in 10 overs. Waqas Ali remained unconquered on 82.

Syed Aghan Club chased the total through opener Hasan scoring 12 and falling to Ismail Afridi. Opener and skipper Zainullah and Ansar Khan took the score to 54 in four overs when Zahid got Zainullah out for 13. Two runs later, Asnar Khan too followed getting out to Ghulam Murtaza for 21. Abdul Khaliq too did not last long too getting out caught behind by wicketkeeper Furqan Khalil off Nadir Hussain for 2.

All the other batsmen who followed failed to score big after showing signs of settling down. Noorulhadi Muslimyar got out to Ghulam Murtaza for 14 while Ifran Yousafzai got bowled by Nadir Hussain for 11. In the end, Syed Agah could muster only 102 for 6 in 10 overs.
