Nikhil Srinivasan’s elegant half century and Banty Nandy’s all-round show in the Plate semifinal of the 28th edition of the Bukhatir League powered by Fancode

Nayar Nikhil Srinivasan played an elegant and responsible knock in the first Plate semifinal to ensure Colatta Chocolates a three-wicket win over DCC Starlets in Plate semifinal  of the  28th edition of the Bukhatir League powered by Fancode at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. He virtually carried his team to the target with five balls to spare despite a spirited performance from DCC Starlets made up of budding cricketers. In the second Plate semifinal, Banty Nandy top scored with 41 runs and bagged three wickets in Rajkot Thunders’s five-wicket win over Hemnet Properties in a high scoring match.   In the first Plate Semifinal, DCC Starlets opted to bat and their openers Shahrukh Muhammad Amin and Shrey Sethi put on 25 runs in 4.5 overs before Shahrukh Muhammad Amin got bowled by Mohammed Rizwan Sabir for 14. Nayar Sharjah Cricket Academy A emerged supreme in the  Sharjah CBFS juniors 2022 Under-17 tournament through a clinical performance against  Victoria Cricket Academy in the final held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday, June 27. Muhammad Imran Od and Dawood Ejaz hit match winning half centuries in the Cup Quarterfinals of the 28th edition of the Bukhatir League powered by Fancode

By K.R. Nayar Four batsmen hit half centuries and two others missed fifties by less than five runs in the Cup Quarterfinals of the 28th edition of the Bukhatir League powered by Fancode. Two of the half century makers were Muhammad Imran Od (59), who along with Farhan Babar (56) steered Fair Deal Defenders 7 District to the semifinal through a six-wicket win over Brothers Gas. In another match, Pakistan Super Market (PSM) XI beat The Vision Shipping by 5 wickets despite The Vision Shipping’s Shahbaz Ali hitting 53 runs.  Dawood Ejaz of Pakistan Super Market (PSM) XI played a fine match-winning knock of 62. Brothers Gas’ Ansh Tandon missed his half century by four runs and so did Pakistan Super Market’s Abdullah Azhar by five runs. It was a day when all teams scored over 150 runs. By K.R. Nayar Maxtalent Global Sports emerged as the champions of the Under-13 Spring Academy Challenge Inter-Academy Tournament, which was held at the Australia International School Sharjah. Organised by Springs Academy, this was the first edition of this tournament. The star performer in Maxtalents Global Sports triumph was their skipper  Sachin Prakash who produced a timely all-round show.   Maxtalent Global Sports after winning the title  This Under-13 tournament was a contest between 12 teams on a league and knock out basis, and it produced some thrilling matches. Maxtalent and MS Academy reached the final. Maxtalent won mainly due to their team’s strong all-round show. Nayar UAE national team’s three star all-rounders Rizwan CP, Rohan Mustafa and Basil Hameed displayed their skills in the quarterfinal of the 28th edition of the Bukhatir League powered by Fancode to power their teams to victories. Rizwan CP of InterGlobe Marine emerged as the fifth century maker of this edition after Khalid Shah of Ajman Heroes, Muhammad Waseem of Brothers Gas, Fayyaz Ahmed of Medsol Labs – GHI and Aamer Hamza of Pakistan Super Market XI in the match against Ajman Heroes at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium during the double header quarterfinals of this tournament on Saturday. Another player from InterGlobe Marine, Basil Hameed, who is fresh from a Player of the Match award in his last match for his unbeaten 56 and two wickets against Hemnet Properties, sparkled again with an unbeaten 54 and a two wicket spell. Nayar Sharjah Cricket Academy A and Victoria Cricket Academy have emerged as two of the strongest teams in the Sharjah CBFS juniors 2022 Under-17 tournament and they will clash for the title in a final that is expected to be an intensely fought one at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday (June 27, 2022). In the first semifinal, Victoria Cricket Academy defeated Sharjah Cricket Academy B by 8 wickets. The star performers were Victoria Cricket Academy’s skipper Deepak Raj, who hit an unbeaten 42 and Dhruv Doultani, who bagged three wickets for 15, and won the Player of the match award. In the second semifinal too, it was a captain’s allround show. An unbeaten knock of 65 from Abdul Ghaffar and a two wicket spell ensured Future Mattress a 96-runs win over The Vision Shipping in the 28th edition of the Bukhatir League powered by Fancode. This match also witnessed a fine spell of 5 for 23 from Future Mattress’ Rohan Mustafa. In another match, InterGlobe Marine defeated Hemnet Properties by 7 wickets through Basil Hameed’s unbeaten 56 and one crucial wicket. In the The Vision Shipping – Future Mattress match, Vision Shipping opted to field. UAE’s star allrounder Rohan Mustafa opened the innings with Ansar Khan and the pair put on 65 runs in just 5.3 overs. Rohan Mustafa fell in the sixth over to Shahbaz Ali for 37. One-drop Abdul Shakoor hit a quick 18 before falling to Sajjad Malook. Abdul Ghaffar, who walked in, started striking smoothly, and together with opener Ansar Khan, they took the score past the 100 run mark.
