Fingent Pathbreakers women cricketers from India conclude UAE tour on a high note

By K.R. Nayar   Women cricketers from different states of India displayed their skills to overpower teams made up of UAE women's team players. The tour was part of a girls-empowerment initiative by the Trivandrum-based player-management company Play True. Saee K Purandare piled up 321 runs from seven matches to hog the limelight Fingent Pathbreakers women's team at the press conference   Fingent Pathbreakers, a women's cricket team made up of players from the Indian states of Kerala, Meghalaya, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh, completed their 10-day tour of the UAE on a splendid note displaying impressive skills to win matches against teams made up of UAE women cricketers. The tour was organised by Trivandrum-based player-management company Play True under their girls-empowerment initiative, For HER, in association with Dubai-based G Force Cricket Academy. Waking up at night to the sounds of cars and bikes with modified engines

By K.R. Nayar There are a few people who take pleasure in waking up others past midnight wanting others to admire and enjoy the noise given out by their sound-modified vehicles. I made the mistake of sleeping with the window open to enjoy the cool breeze and weather only to be woken up by these miscreants.  Since it is that time of the year when the weather turns pleasant and it is enjoyable to sleep with the windows open at night, I attempted to do that this past week.  The cool breeze flowing into the room ensures that I slip into a deep sleep as soon as I hit the bed.  Unfortunately, at times. along with the welcome breeze comes the unwelcome sound of cars and motorbikes that whizz past with screeches given out from their sound modified engines. My bedroom faces the main road, and on many occasions, at night it seems as if I am next to a runway witnessing a pilot taking off a plane. Women cricketers from India motivated by a journey through history of world cricket

  By K.R. Nayar Pathbreakers, a women's cricket team made up of players from the Indian states of Kerala, Meghalaya, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh are in the UAE on a ten-day tour. They began their series of six matches after taking a journey through the history of world cricket at the Shyam Bhatia cricket museum to get inspired and aim to make a mark in international cricket. Pathbreakers women's team at the Shyam Bhaita Cricket Museum  A bunch of young women cricketers from different parts of India have taken the initiative to fly to the UAE and gain exposure by playing a series of matches in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. The team is called Pathbreakers and then their ten-day tour has been organised by Play True, a player management company based in Kerala. Pathbreakers will be playing six matches against the different academies in the UAE, and this is being organised by G Force Cricket Academy coach Gopal Jasapara.
