Every sunrise gives us hope and strength to overcome barriers and be successful

There is a lot to learn from a sunrise. It brings along messages to wipe away negative thoughts and carve a day filled with positive thoughts. So let us use that to scale greater heights of success and help us shine our lives like the sunlight

This is the time when one must rise up if we have fallen down in our journey of life. Every day one hears of unexpected things happening around due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many of us feel helpless and have no clue as to what needs to be done next. This is the time we need to up our mental strength.

When faced with a tough situation, our minds can turn negative. It then gives us messages that can make us feel as if there is no way forward.  That is when we must remember the sun. I once got a lovely message from a friend that said 'Remember the sun sets to rise again,' and that is a message for all of us to rise again.

This also got me to realise that we rarely observe many things that happen on a daily basis. Maybe there is some meaning to each of these happenings?  I've always been fascinated by the rising sun. It was a memorable experience watching the breaking of dawn by the sea while holidaying in Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India. This is the meeting point of three oceans - the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean-  and watching the sunrise there is a great spectacle.

It is when the sun rises that we add another day to our lives, and it is for us to use this day the way we chose to.  We rarely think in those terms when we get up in the morning.  For most of us, it is just another happening that the sun rises in the East, comes right above our heads by noon, sets in the West in the evening. But if we assume that the sun has risen to give us another chance to sharpen our skills or work harder with more vigour to achieve our goals, then our day can become a wonderful experience. Even if we feel down and out, let us not sit and brood over whatever is pulling us down. Look out of the window and admire the day that the Sun gave birth to today.

Wake up to another lovely day!

Unfortuantely, we take the day for granted and sometimes remark it is a boring day.
I consider every sunrise as the start of another page in my life? I am sure none of us would like a page that is dull. Let us make it colourful. Let us be cheerful and do things that we need to do with all happiness. And if at any time we feel dull, let us brighten it up with a positive outlook just like the sunlight around us. And if we think that a setback that we've encountered is too severe to handle, let us try to rise again just like the sun that has never refused or failed to rise. We must continue to do what we've been doing without thinking of the past and look ahead more positively.

There is a famous saying: “The sun glows for a day, candle for an hour, matchstick for a minute, but a good day can glow forever.” So let’s try and create a good day as soon as the sun rises.
